A landmark achievement in Foster Marlon’s history is the conversion of the historic Produce Exchange Building situated in the heart of Liverpool City Centre on main Victoria Street. This heritage building has a glorious history dating to more than a hundred years. It was in a derelict state when Foster Marlon acquired the asset. Their investment thesis was to restore the asset into its former glory and act as a catalyst for further regeneration in the area.
The Produce exchange building was first built in 1902 to act as a gateway to all imported fruits and produce from across the world. It most recently served as the northern headquarters of NatWest bank before the financial crisis of 2008. Foster Marlon took upon itself the challenging task of redeveloping the asset into a combination of residential and serviced apartments to tackle the extensive demand and supply gap in the city.
